Allison Webster Cook III
March 10, 1936 — January 29, 2013
Allison Webster Cook III, 76, a native of Morgan City and a resident of Houma, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013.
During his “Dash” he served his country in the Vietnam Era stateside in the U.S. Marine Corps. Allison enjoyed visitations from his children, grandchildren, family and friends. He loved playing bingo, listening to music, and dancing. Allison will never be forgotten and he will be truly missed by his family and friends. May he rest in Peace.
Allison is survived by his four daughters, Ellen Cook Bourg and husband, Hershell of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Janice Cook and companion, Tim Gallant of Pensacola, Fla., Cynthia Cook Magallon and husband, Jesus, of Baton Rouge and Kathleen Gregoire of Houma; two sons, Richard Cook of Houma and Oville Adam Gregoire and wife, Yvette, of Beach Grove, Tenn.; 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Errol Cook of Patterson and Paul Cook and wife, Karen, of Morgan City; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edelia Billiot Cook; parents, Allison and Isabelle Martin Cook Jr., one granddaughter, Candas Louise Cook Hebert; and two sisters, Rhea Cook Arcemont and Joyclyn Cook Callehan.
Visitation was held Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at Twin City Funeral Home beginning at 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. and resuming at the funeral home Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, starting at 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Allison was laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery with full military honors provided by the East St. Mary Veterans Funeral Squad.
