Entries for the selection of the Louisiana Shrimp & Petroleum Festival Children’s Day royalty are being sought.

Children ages 7-12 are eligible to enter for a chance to be selected as Children’s Day king or queen.

The random drawing for king and queen will be held on the porch of the Louisiana Shrimp & Petroleum Festival office at 715 Second St. in Morgan City on Aug. 18 at 3 p.m.
