Agents nab 3 in drug raid

Narcotics agents arrested three persons Friday afternoon in a drug sting just outside of Franklin.

Multijurisdictional Drug Task Force members executed a search warrant at 128 Bray Lane, in the St. Joseph area of Franklin Friday at 3:30 p.m.

Agents reportedly located a large amount of marijuana in a vehicle parked in front of the residence, as well as cash and a digital scale.

Inside the residence, agents reportedly located a large amount of marijuana, ecstasy pills, cash and packaging material.

In all, the street value of the marijuana was about $6,000 and the cash totaled $3,579.

Charged were Tray Mitchell, 24, of 210 Isaac St., Franklin, with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting an officer with force, violation of the controlled dangerous substance law, possession of MDMA with intent to distribute and keeping a disorderly place. No bond was set.

John Jones, 21, of 128 Bray Lane, Franklin, was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting an officer with force, violation of the controlled dangerous substance law, possession of MDMA with intent to distribute and keeping a disorderly place. No bond was set.

Lesley Domingue, 29, of Lafayette, was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, violation of the controlled dangerous substance law, possession of MDMA with intent to distribute, keeping a disorderly place and a Lafayette Parish failure to appear warrant. He was transferred to Lafayette authorities.

In other police news, St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests this morning.

Randolph Stanton, 48, of 3061-C La. 70, Morgan City, was arrested Friday at 12:48 p.m. on a charge of shoplifting. He was released on a summons.

Neysa Sauce, 43, of 3000 Helen Drive, Morgan City, was arrested Friday at 4:25 p.m. on a charge of theft under $300. She was released on a summons.

Carrol Ray Clark, 35, of 1419 Nevada St., Morgan City, was arrested Friday at 2:19 p.m. on warrants charging him with failure to appear on charges of failure to use seatbelt, issuing worthless checks and was also charged with possession of a legend drug, failure to signal, driving under suspension, expired license plate and no proof of insurance. No bond was set.

Joseph Andrews, 31, of 718 Saturn Road, Bayou Vista, was arrested Friday at 10:30 p.m. on warrants charging him with failure to appear on simple battery charges. No bond was set.

Antonio Mendoza, 28, of New Iberia, was arrested Friday at 11:38 p.m. on charges of misuse of a temporary plate, failure to secure registration, driving without a legal presence in the country and no proof of insurance. No bond was set.

Joshua Navy, 24, of 269 Verdun Lane, Verdunville, was arrested Saturday at 11:36 a.m. on a charge of simple battery. No bond was set.

Gay Hinkle Harder, 52, of 1507 N. First St., Morgan City, was arrested today at 2:05 a.m. on a warrant charging her with failure to appear on charges of issuing worthless checks, improper lane use, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and driving under suspension. No bond was set.

Mark Terrebonne, 54, of 1507 N. First St., Morgan City, was arrested at 2:05 a.m. on a charge of second offense possession of crack cocaine. No bond was set.

Chitimacha Police Chief Blaise Smith reported the arrest of Chelsey Cook, 24, of Charenton, Friday at 8:15 a.m. on charges of criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and two counts of simple assault. No bond was set.

Joseph Charles, 46, of Jeanerette, was arrested Friday at 7:30 p.m. on a charge of criminal trespassing. He was released on a summons.

Shawn Migues, 22, of Jeanerette, was arrested Saturday at 3:16 p.m. on a charge of theft. She was released on a summons.

Davonte Williams, 19, of Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 3:14 a.m. on a charge of criminal trespassing. Williams was released on a summons.

Cheleste Miller, 23, of New Iberia, was arrested today at 12:15 a.m. on a charge of misuse of a state ID. She was released on a summons.

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Sean Gaspard, 25, of Franklin, Thursday at 9:06 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on the charge of issuing worthless checks. He was released to appear in court.

Lamonica Charles, 26, of Robertson Street, Franklin, Thursday at 1:23 p.m. on a Patterson warrant charging him with failure to appear. He was transferred to Patterson police.

Faye Riley, 58, of Magnolia Street, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 2:11 p.m. on charges of disturbing the peace and remaining where forbidden. She was released on $750 bond.

Larry Billiot Jr., 40, of Cherry Street, Franklin, was arrested Friday at 1:39 a.m. on charges of domestic abuse battery and disturbing the peace. No bond was set.

Ladetra Billiot, 38, of Cherry Street, Franklin, was arrested Friday at 1:39 a.m. on charges of domestic abuse battery and disturbing the peace. No bond was set.

Donald Ray Randle, 54, of Liner Street, Franklin, was arrested Friday at 8:55 p.m. on charges of open alcohol container and disturbing the peace intoxicated. He was released to appear in court.

Kendrick D. Wilson, 32, of Long Street, Baldwin, was arrested Friday at 11:38 p.m. on a charges of reckless operation, DWI and child endangerment. He was released on $2,500 bond.

Jon Ross Ireland, 26, of Antigo Alley, Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 11:05 a.m. on a warrant charging him with domestic abuse battery. He was held with no bond set.

Danielle Ashley Francis, 27, of New Orleans, was arrested Sunday at 12:09 a.m. on a charge of disturbing the peace by fighting. He was released on $250 bond.

Reva Shane Lightfoot, 24, of Lafayette, was arrested Sunday at 12:16 a.m. on a charge of disturbing the peace by fighting. He was released on $250 bond.

Sharla Lynn Daniels, 41, of Willow Street, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 2:46 a.m. on a charges of sixth offense possession of drug paraphernalia. No bond was set.

Tracey Hebert, 44, of Morris Street, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 2:46 a.m. on charges of possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. No bond was set.
