A host of administrative appointments within the St. Mary Parish school system was made at Thursday’s monthly board meeting.
Recommendations of Schools Superintendent Dr. Donald Aguillard to fill the long list of administrative vacancies were ratified by board vote.
Among the appointments were Debra McClarity, coordinator of Special Instructional Services; Mike Ortiz, compliance officer; Rachel Wilson, Patterson High School principal; and Naomi Harding, B. Edward Boudreaux Middle School principal.
In addition, Niki Fryou was named Hattie Watts Elementary (Patterson) principal, Charles Foulcard is the new assistant principal at Hattie Watts Elementary (Patterson), Terry Duchane is Franklin High School assistant principal and Robbi Gouaux is Morgan City High School assistant principal.
Ronnie Louis was chosen B. Edward Boudreaux assistant principal and Evangeline Butler is the new assistant principal at West St. Mary High School.
The board also approved Aguillard’s recommendation for an involuntary transfer of Ronnie Louis, who served previously as WSM’s assistant principal.
Also Tuesday, the board appointed principals at four summer school sites. They are Andrea Barras at Morgan City Junior High School, Amanda Talbot at Patterson Junior High School, Charmaine St. Germaine at Franklin Junior High and Dequindra Redding at B. Edward Boudreaux.
