2 injured in Baldwin robbery

Baldwin police are investigating an armed robbery Friday night that left two persons injured.

A police spokesperson reported that four black males, all armed with guns, entered the Dollar General Store on La. 182 between 10:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. near closing time.

The two clerks on duty sustained minor injuries but police would not disclose the cause of those injuries as of yet. They were treated at Franklin Foundation Hospital and released.

The robbers made off with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled in a vehicle.

Police are currently examining surveillance video.

The incident remains under investigation.
