Staff Report

Morgan City is going to the birds Feb. 16-18 with the 12th Annual Eagle Expo and More.
The conference, which Cajun Coast created as a tribute to the American bald eagle, gives attendees the opportunity to get up close with Louisiana wildlife.

Speakers for the expo include a variety of successful researchers and academics including CC Lockwood, Bryan Piazza, Michael Seymour, Maggie McPherson, Cathy DiSalvo and the LSU Raptor Program. Sponsors and partners include the Louisiana Office of Tourism, Atchafalaya National Heritage Area, BTNEP, Louisiana Seafood, Conrad Industries, LSU Museum of Natural Science, LUMCON, B & G Foods, Johnny’s Propeller Shop, Audubon Society, the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries and Stazione.
