‘Back to School’ carnival and health fair set by Teche Action
Teche Action Clinic is sponsoring a Back to School Carnival and Health Fair July 28, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Broussard Harris Recreation Center, located at 508 Oneal Chube St. in Franklin.
The purpose of the fair is to increase health awareness through education and prevention. TAC believes this fair will provide a valuable service to the community. The event is open to the public.
The fair will feature the following activities: basic health screenings; speaker forums on health promotion and disease prevention; a variety of information booths designed to help the community become aware of the many health related programs, services and providers located in our surrounding community; and fun for kids.
The event is open to both adults and children and the atmosphere promises to be festive yet educational.
